| Sept.22nd donation of School uniforms at .Saraswati Shishu Mandir An institution established more than 75 years ago in the heart of the city . They run a secondary school for children below poverty line (BPL ) In a joint project with lions Club we decided to donate 100 dresses for school children. The dresses were distributed in a small function organised in August 07. |

On the 2ND Feb 100 students were sponsored by our club at Saraswati Shishu Mandir. School fees of Rs 420 per child payable in Aug every year. Collected donations from fellow rotarians & handed over a cheque for Rs 42000/- in a small function in January 08. We propose to make this into an ongoing project. |

Kudal Eye Camp: A free eye check up camp was conducted at Kudal 80 Kms. Away from Pune with the help of the resident Mr. Uday Shinde where 450 patients scanned. 180 patients were distributed free spectacles.94 Patients were selected for operations. Out of which 90 patients were operated for Cateract and 3 were operated for other surgeries which included a coronial transplant. |

Payal Bhatee was inducted as a president of Interact Club on the 19th Sept.
Rtn. Bathwal was the chief guest for the programme who has initiated 4 Interact Clubs.
Certificates to the interactors were also distributed for their participation in the Pulse Polio Drive. |

The Rotaract club of Pune Sports City was revived on the 26th February with the club
strength of 30 members . Rtr. Nehi Jain as a President , Rtr. Shonita Joshi as a secretary
And Rtr.Akash Rode have taken charge for the period of Feb 08 till June 09. |
